Cooling Inspection
- Check compressor amps / volts, capacitors
- Check blower motor amps / volts
- Tighten electrical connections
- Check / lubricate motor & bearings
- Check burner for cleanliness, adjust if needed
- Check ignition and pilot assemblies
- Inspect heat exchanger or heating elements
- Monitor flue draft
- Measure temperature rise
- Measure for correct air flow
- Test starting capabilities
- Test safety controls
- Check thermostat operation / calibrate as necessary

- Inspect refrigerant piping for vibration / rubbing
- Inspect condenser coil for cleanliness
- Inspect condition of outdoor cabinet and disconnect

- Check condenser fan motor amps / volts and fan blade

Heating Inspection
- Check compressor amps / volts, capacitors
- Monitor refrigerant pressures
- Inspect refrigerant piping for vibration / rubbing
- Inspect condenser coil for cleanliness
- Inspect condition of outdoor cabinet and disconnect
- Check condenser fan motor amps / volts and fan blade
- Tighten electrical connections
- Check / lubricate motor & bearings
- Inspect contractor condition
- Inspect reversing valve (heat pump)
- Test starting capabilities
- Test safety controls
- Inspect blower components for cleanliness
- Check blower motor amps / volts
- Check / lubricate motor & bearings
- Inspect evaporator coil for cleanliness
- Measure temperature drop or rise
- Inspect & clean condensate drain and pan
- Check condensate pump for proper operation
- Check thermostat operation / calibrate as necessary
